This spread boasted 3 of the greatest ingredients on this beautiful planet - dark chocolate, peanut butter, and coffee. I mean, what's not to get REALLY excited about? (No jokes, please...!) Unfortunately it sadly fell short, as did my feelings on tasting it. I bravely made my way through half the jar, thinking I would change my mind but, as you can see, it remains unfinished. I suppose it tried to put all the great flavours in one and just created a 'meh'. Let me put it this way, if I want a quick spoonful of 'tasty', I reach for the peanut or cashew (pencil shavings and all) before this. I can't really comment on the price here as I bought it as part of the vegan subscription box (Pretty Delicious Things), which is a wonderful way to get to know the latest and most favourite vegan items around on the market, by the way. The box itself is very good value for that reason alone, and you get to support a lovely young woman in local business. Apologies for the quality of the label - if it comes through our front door, is zapped, splashed with 70% alcohol 'nuked'. (Sometimes they're put in isolation for 2 weeks.) Having said that, packaging is basic, which is fine. Glass is reusable, so always welcome in my home.
