Review of Latkes at The Conscious Kitchen by capetownvegan

The Latke (Potato Cake) Duo (R75) from The Conscious Kitchen in Observatory.
Finding a place to have a vegan breakfast EARLY on a Sunday morning is tough. Hats off to The Conscious Kitchen for sorting a guy out.
Two latkes (potato cakes). One with vegan cream cheese and smoked carrot lox, the other with sautéed spinach and creamy pulled oyster mushrooms.
Of course, I am not a mushroom fan, so once again, the team at the Obs branch did a sneaky substitute for me, for which I was very grateful.
I paired this with an Oat Milk Latte for a perfect start to my Sunday.
