Review of Retinol 0.2% in Squalene - The Ordinary by firavounaki
I love The Ordinary and I had been wanting to start incorporating a retinol product into my skincare regime. I decided to start with this 0.2% formula. I’ve been using it once a week. To be honest, I don’t look forward to the days I use this because I feel like it takes quite a long time for my skin to absorb it, I feel “oily” for a while after I use it. Of course it’s not actual oil but just the product but I’m not using too much either. So I don’t know what to make of it. It doesn’t have a bad effect in general so I will keep on using it.

veganonvanisle I have been using it for about 2 months now, and have gotten used to it 🙄 the days I dont use it my skin feels dry and tight. I find that putting on the moisturizing factors as the final step locks it in and feels less "oily"/more "moisture". The results have been worth it for my aging skin 😉 I am about to level up to .5! 1 likeReply
firavounaki Congrats on your graduation to 0.5! 😋 I tried TO moisturizing factors moisturizer but I have another one which I’ve been using and loving for the last 4-5 months. I will try your suggestion this week!1 likeReply
