Review of Vegan Schnitzel Toasted Sandwich at The Lost Jockey by nahtalix

I've had a fair few toasties in my time and this is pretty much at the top of the list - I can't believe this place has been open for a year and this is the first time I've been!! The toastie was really good and hot, the bread perfectly crisp, great melty cheese, red cabbage and gherkins add the perfect crunch and flavour, and then of course there is the schnitzel in it too. The sauerkraut on the side went really well with it and even the side salad was different and had a lovely dressing on it. For £6 this is maybe one of the best value dishes in Crookes, highly highly recommend!!
