I got this facial soap bar as an alternative to the Carbon Theory bar, which I’d been using for probably almost two years. It’s marketed as “A gentle cleanser that clears the skin and helps prevent breakouts and spots” and it’s “made with residual chai spices used to create Henny & Joe's chai syrup.” I really like Upcircle’s values and how they use ingredients that would otherwise have gone to waste. I have found that this bar gives my face a nice gentle cleanse, it foams up really well and feels very nice to use. I haven’t been using it long enough to be able to tell how well it reduces acne yet, but it definitely makes my face feel clean. I really like that it comes in a cardboard box which is recyclable as I’ve really been wanting to reduce the packaging in my skincare products. This bar costs £6.99 from the Upcircle website, which I think is a good price as it will last quite a while and is eco friendly.
