The name of the soup is I believe an British interpretation of Indian rasam? Very interesting that it turned up in a menu for Peranakan cuisine! It was filled with many ingredients cut into small bits, great variety of textures. Soup was mildly flavoured with tinge of curry. It's a starter and best to have it before all the stronger flavoured dishes for the rest of your meal!
