Good without being excellent. Apparently Sanuki #udon is a specialty of the Kagawa region, but I'm no expert at all on #Japanese #noodles 😅 The noodles were thick and chewy, which isn't generally how I like them. However, the soup was excellent, clear but nicely balancing the elements of saltiness and umami 😋

The #seaweed and #kelp (#wakame) on the side added significantly to the flavour, while the crispy #tempura batter - which comes in a separate bag for you to sprinkle on top at your own pace - did wonders for my soul 😊 At RM12, this is quite a steal
