Review of Plant-based Ground - Beyond Meat by dafnelately
Part 2 of my burrito roll wrap 🌯 shenanigans 😎 I’ve had this block of #beyondmeat beef ground sitting in my freezer for quite a while now but just didn’t know what to do with it 🤷♀️ It seems like every time I end up trying out a #fakemeat beef ground I end up making something Mexican-esque, the last being a chilli I made with the #impossible beef ground. Toe to toe, I do think that the impossible beef ground tastes a lot better & more comparable to actual beef while this definitely has a more sweet artificial taste to it 🤷♀️ Picture 2 shows how it looks like defrosted, quite artificial & akin to the mush people allegedly say all fast foods are made from 😂 It’s hardly grainly like you’d expect ground/minced beef to be & more like really cheap chicken mince. It does cook very well & easily though, with me not having to add any oil to it at all because it is already quite oily on its own. You can tell from picture 3 that you’re working something that does tend to clump, so I can imagine this working better for meat-derived dishes like meatballs, burgers, & such but perhaps not for beef fried rice 🐄 It worked out just fine for my wrap & kudos to #beyondmeat for another great #fakemeat 🤪 #helpindiabreathe #tiledreview
