I add this in my coffee and other hot drinks. It’s finely ground and dissolves instantly ☕️
I doubt the potency is as good as it claims to be, at least compared to wild harvested ones, since they’re lab grown on oats and no fruiting body (the part of mushroom that grows above ground, or tree barks) is included (you can actually smell the nuttiness from the grain). But the upside is that it’s certified #organic, so presumably free of any possible contamination or toxins. There’s no regulation on this type of food/supplements in the US. So that’s an assurance.
💡Here’s a some footnote on #chaga. It’s touted as the King of Mushrooms🍄 and for good reason. It has more antioxidant superoxide dismitase (SOD, an anti-inflammatory super compound), zinc and melatonin (crucial for hair and skin health💆🏻♀️) than any other natural source. As an #adaptogen, it also boosts the immune system, and has anti-tumor and anti-cancer properties.
The charcoal-like look seems menacing compared to the typical mushrooms. But just like many other black foods (black sesame, black rice, black wood ear mushrooms, seaweeds, etc.), it’s kind of remarkable🖤

The packaging is more menacing than the product 😆 Does this have a distinct taste?
