Review of Akamaru 1.0 (4th May- 30th Jun 21) at IPPUDO Raffles City by kathedrals

Quite impressed by this plant-based ramen!! The broth was milky and fragrant, and the noodles had a good bite (they’re wholegrain). The cha shu tastes like chinese mock meat but with a slightly better meat texture. Tbh the cha shu could be improved to be more like real cha shu in taste and texture, but this is a great attempt at veganising ramen and I’m happy with it already!
