Review of Chicken Rice at Daily Green (St. George's Road) by kennethchootv

I was thinking what to have for lunch and found this on abillion APP. Saw that Daily Green have this vegetarian “chicken” rice that has a high rating and review so decided to check it out.

What’s interesting is that they have this vegetarian Char Siew with it. It really have that char siew taste and texture 👍🏻

The rice has that chicken rice’s fragrance, garlicky and oily taste. For the “chicken meat”, they uses beancurd skin which mimic it nicely the colored skin and texture. Paired with their chilli sauce which really had that chicken rice chill taste, it was a good combi.

$4.00 a plate together with a corn soup. Not too bad. Worth it. Pretty filling. Will come back again but will add “chicken” next time 😉👍🏻
