NEXT Karubi Don at Aburi-EN (Isetan Scotts) — Veggiexplorer 💁🏻‍♀️'s Review (May 1, 2021)

Finally tried the talk of the town - @aburien.sg Premium Karubi Don with Miso Soup set - Grilled boneless short rib @nextmeats_singapore with Aburi-En’s special sauce served on premium Jap rice and Tofu Wakame Sauce Miso Soup. This set is vegan (saw @allaboutveggie_msveg igs of info and uds that the “meat” contain alliums). It’s just $13.80 before gst and srv charge, quite cheap in comparison to other non veg don bowl that cost up to $24, yay that veg food not more exp in a place phew ... it’s available for limited period of time (not sure when they might stop it) but go try before this end ~

Verdict: yummy! Hahha i think i am quite easily satisfied too.... but the rice is gooood... soup is comforting tho salty a little but expect nothing less from miso... and the meat is chewy and grilled with sauce. I like the whole bowl but wish for more greens too... hahaha not a fan of the leek toppings. My non veg friends tried and said that the “meat” tasted like pork/ chicken... so now I kinda know how pork/ chicken taste like hm... #abillionturns3
