Gotta love a #leicha when they lay it all out like that ๐๐ You can see each of the eight plant-based ingredients, and play mix and match as you eat your merry way along โบ๏ธ (Or just dump it all in after a while and eat like an adult ๐, see third picture.) My only complaint is that the tea sauce wasn't particularly aromatic or flavourful, though they do give you a huge teapot full of it ๐ For good tea sauce, my top tip is still Idealite.
Only just occurred to me that although I must have done delivery/takeaway from this place dozens of times from back when I worked in the MVM area, this was my first dine-in experience. It is also a store where you can pick up organic food products, so sitting in the midst of all the shelves and counters to enjoy a meal like this actually has that good old ่ถ้ฆ feeling ๐
stevenneohย Stop rubbing it in. Nothing in the world compares to Idealite's lei cha ๐2 likesReply
david-ย This looks delicious, though I have no clue what it is๐ฅฒ2 likesReply
stevenneohย I didn't really understand the fuss around it either, until maybe a year or two ago ๐ 1 likeReply
elej91ย There's an episode on netflix's 'Flavorful Origin', Season 1, titled 'Lei Cha'. You might find it interesting.1 likeReply
elej91ย Just rewatched it. You might want to skip 4:50 to 5:15 if you don't want to see the bits with prawns and squids. Everything else in this episode is plant-based.1 likeReply
