Kudosha

This a Japanese tofu-pouch product. It's got 3 big pieces per bag for $10.90 at Yata. I used it in soup and for beancurd sushi. I realised it wasn't seasoned and was very bland when I used it in miso soup so I boiled it in a mixture of soy sauce, sugar and water for the sushi.

It soaks up flavours really well though, so go easy on the sugar 😂 When you slice the large slabs up, you only get 6 beancurd sushi pouches. I used the remainder middle pieces to house the rice like nori seaweed.

Anyway, in the photos I topped the beancurd sushi with vegan salmon sashimi and spicy watermelon (will review later). So good!
