Review of Immune Boost Smoothie at The Living Cafe by roshninagaria
Full of goodness, this Immune Boost Smoothie is filled with: mixed berries, orange, banana, vegan vanilla protein powder, and vegan vitamin c boost.
The taste was a mix of tangy and sweet from the fruity components and was very refreshing. By default, they do not provide straws with their smoothies as far as I can remember (I also mention no straw anyway) which is super!
Nothing about this smoothie tasted artificial, which I know can sometimes be the case when protein powders, vitamins etc are added in. The fruity kick was strong and vibrant...the colour of the smoothie was also gorgeous! (Eating with my eyes, I know!)
Next time, I would ask for less ice.
Texture and consistency were thick. This was a filling smoothie and did not get watery at any point.
I recommend this smoothie! I usually opt for the Chocolate Monkey, so I’m super glad I gave this a try as it ranked just as high for me in terms of flavour and is healthier too :)
Value for money: I’d say each to their own for this one. Definitely not budget friendly but also not drastically more expensive than other places, especially considering all the ingredients are wholesome and overall natural.
The Living Cafe is an expensive place to dine after all, but I do feel that on the most part, you get the quality you pay for.
When it comes to this smoothie, size was definitely sufficient, so thumbs up from me!
Visiting The Living Cafe? They are located just outside of Sixth Avenue MRT! You can’t miss them. Do check opening hours before you go as they are not open until late evening.
