Garlic Cucumber at Chengdu — Reviewsasitis's Review (Apr 2, 2021)

This cucumber dish came in a cute flower presentation. So cute. Cucumber coated with light chili oil, it's a refreshing contrast to the other flavourful dish. Definitely played a good supporting role. On it's own, I'd prefer more kick,wish there was more garlic, spice and some peanut sauce :P

Overall good experience but as it was my first time at Chengdu, there were some hiccups and miscommunication in ordering the dishes, and quite a few dishes arrived that were not veganised, and we had to send it back. The waitresses are not too alert with vegan preferences

Tip: Specify clearly you want the vegan version and double check when the food arrives. :) Otherwise, wonderful service and food.
