Review of Seared Watermelon Steak at POP Vegan by moosewong
I dragged my family to one of the only fully vegan restaurants in HK for my birthday dinner😆 This watermelon steak was amazing! It doesn't taste like meat as much - instead, it was more like sashimi, but still, so cool that watermelon could be so versatile. My mom couldn't even tell what she was eating. It's a bit pricey for a starter but really worth it for a unique dish, and it's healthy and refreshing too :)

moosewong hahaha this was actually the day after the cake so we could indulge on both days :D I saw a video on YouTube about making a smoked watermelon "ham" and it looked like a very tedious process but so cool that vegan recipes are so innovative!1 likeReply
