Carrot Cake at Springhouse — hajojo's Review (Mar 30, 2021)

Springhouse is a local shop that had to readapt their way of doing this when the pandemic hit and they are still around! Yesterday was their “customer appreciation day” and I could not resist getting some treats!

They offer very healthy foods, always looking for the least processed options and fresh ingredients.

Anyhow, that’s why I grabbed this carrot cake square. Almost raw, with carrots as the first ingredient and sweetened with maple syrup + dates - there’s no reason to feel guilty getting this dessert!

Ingredients: carrots, organic almonds, organic sunflower seeds, organic raisins, organic dates, organic cashews, maple syrup, lemon juice and salt.
