Although I never liked ghee - vegan or otherwise, I got it from vegandukan.com in the hopes of convincing my family to switch to it but didn't like the taste myself. Not sure if I'd be ordering it ever again.
It's not-so-expensive at ₹265 for 500 ml, so, I think it wouldn't hurt to give it a try.
