Garnished with fried onions on top and served with vegan raita (curd with mint and cucumber). The rice had the authentic spicy flavour of the Hyderabadi biryani but fell short of the vegan Kheema experience. Keep reading to know more about Kheema.

Dum Biryani is made when you cook the dish by letting it breathe in its own aroma and juices. By sealing the container (handi) traditionally with dough (dum).

And Kheema is basically minced (mock) meat and can be cooked by either stewing or frying it, and is generally used as a stuffing but can be used in a variety of dishes.

This is the first time I visited Terrasen, and it was a breath of fresh air. This cosy cafe is totally laid back, pet friendly and they have reused old furniture to setup the place. If you are in Hyderabad definitely pay this place a visit as it is 100% vegan. You will be spoilt for choices.
