There's this myth that there's no vegan Penang food 🙄 I probably contributed to it by being blissfully unaware of places like this one, hiding in plain sight 😅 This is your traditional kopitiam, without cruelty on the menu. I recommend getting your fix of authentic Penang fare here; my litmus test is whether the auntie opens the conversation in Penang Hokkien. Test passed ☺️

This #spicy dish is what southerners and Singaporeans call #laksa (which in Penang refers to something else). It comes with #tofu, #taupok, #kangkong, #beansprout, and some #mint leaves for aesthetic effect.
