I prefer the original formula better which had more of a "deep, darker" color.
The new formula isn't bad but it doesn't taste the same.
Not bad by all means but the original just had a smoother rich flavor.
The older formula had a much better color tone too. It was PERFECT to make a black velvet cake.
I haven't baked with the new formula. I have only used it to make hot chocolate but from the taste and color, it's not anywhere the same cocoa powder like their original formula.
Would I recommend it? Yes. Not bad for the price but definitely not my first choice for baking (Taste & Color)
My hot cocoa was good so I'll continue to use for that 😋☕
