Review of Tomato Onion Utthapam at Veera's Cafe (Permanently closed) by herbimetal

I tend to be quite worried about dining at Indian restaurants as I'm afraid they don't understand dairy-free. Fortunately they told me this only has vegetable oil. I'm glad I ordered one with both tomato and onion in it. Only three slices of tomato but onion throughout. It was crispy and tasty and pretty oily, so not healthy. The dips and curry on the side were all nice. The red dip had a kind of comforting onion(?) aroma to it. But it was quite small and not so filling, I would expect something filling since I paid $7.15. Their food also unfortunately comes with disposables only. #veganin2020
