Vegan Taiyaki at Cafe Taiyaki 52 — Lou's Review (Dec 10, 2020)

Taiyaki is a traditional Japanese dessert in a fish shape 😋
The batter is similar to a waffle and usually it’s not vegan as it may contain dairy and eggs.
This cafe offers a vegan batter version for additional CAD 0.25 and there are three vegan filling options: sweet red bean, Apple cinnamon and blueberry.
I got the Apple cinnamon and the red bean one.
The batter and filling were really tasty.
I just wish they could add more dairy free options as they had some really cool looking deserts including the taiyaki
