Daiya

Sometimes I feel like a brat, not being over the moon with all the selection available for us vegans. Daiya is a stalwart, a company that keeps offering new “lookalikes” – imitating SAD foods. I can’t tell you how many times someone has picked out a Daiya cheesecake in front of me (I’ve yet to try one) at the grocer and I’ll say “Are you vegan?” (being a newbie wanting to make friends) and they look a little blank. “My friend’s favourite.” “Taking it to a birthday party.” ... .... Oh dear, I’ve lost my product in all this!
This black cherry yogurt has real cherries and quite a few at that. The yogurt is almost dessert sweet, but that’s okay with me sometimes. There’s not a strong coconut flavour, even though it’s made with coconut cream. I find walnuts really bump it up.

veganonvanisle I dont love Daiya cheesecake... but I DO love the presidents choice one, so it's definitely not about quality 🤣 neither kind will top a homemade raw cashew one though!1 likeReply
malarky Agreed!! The raw is fantastic. My poor blender... We’ll have to give PC a try. That’s twice now you’ve touted them. I think the other one was their cheddar shreds...?Reply
