Black Forest Cake at M Bakery — Anne's Review (Nov 2, 2020)

🍰 Yum! A vegan black forest cake!
🍰 Perfect dessert for the weekend
🍰 Black Forest gâteau or Black Forest cake is a chocolate sponge cake with a rich cherry filling based on the German dessert Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte, literally "Black Forest Cherry-torte".
🍰 Typically, Black Forest cake consists of several layers of chocolate sponge cake sandwiched with whipped cream and cherries. 
🍰 Traditionally, each layer of cake is brushed with cherry liqueur with chopped cherries to the whipped cream filling
🍰 However the asian version has no cherry liquor & the cherry is only that one glazed cherry topping.
🍰 This vegan version is without egg or dairy. I have no idea how they make the cream but it is yummy!
🍰 If I can figure out how to do it, I will bake it traditional Austrian style
🍰 But for now...enjoy a bakery store asian version, fuss fry
