Vegan Avo on Toast at Curious Palette — Laure Guilbaud's Review (Oct 30, 2020)

I discovered this little coffee shop around my house this week, and to my delight realised they have quite a few vegan dishes. I tried the vegan avocado on toast for breakfast, which comes with 2 slices of sourdough, looooads of avocado and vegan cream cheese. I really wanted to love it but unfortunately didn’t. For some reason every bite of avocado had a fizzy citrusy taste which I didn’t enjoy. I assume the taste came from the seasoning they use. The cream cheese on its own is delicious but was lost under the avocado and didn’t do much to the overall toast. I loved the place though so I’d come back and try something else.
