Review of This isn't Chicken Plant-Based Sea Salt and Black Pepper Pieces - THIS by heatherlouise

I wanted to try this after seeing reviews on here about how realistic it was, and damn it truly was very close to real chicken. It was a very strange smell when I first opened the packet and I can't even describe what it was like but that went away after I cooked it. It only takes 2 minutes to cook and you truly could use it in any dish at all as a vegan chicken substitute. I prefer to cook with vegetables and wholefoods rather than using a lot of meat substitutes but I really enjoy trying new meat substitutes when I find them because I'm always so surprised by how far technology has progressed to make them so realistic.
These are obviously more expensive than buying real chicken (sadly) and the box only contains 2 portions so wouldn't really do for a family but I'd recommend them if you want to cut down your meat consumption but really crave meat and have a heavily meat based diet as they are very realistic.
