Guac burger at by CHLOE. Covent Garden — Tilly's Review (Oct 13, 2020)

Very overpriced- £9 for a bean burger. For an exclusively vegan restaurant I would expect something far more adventurous and worthwhile than a simple bean burger with some guac. It could have easily been any cheap bean burger you buy in the supermarket and the guac was little more than smashed avocado- they didn't seem to have added any lemon juice, chilli or any other seasonings. The only addition to the guac seemed to be pieces if sweetcorn. The lettuce they chose was a limp, bitter kind that may work in a salad, but in a burger you want something crunchy and light. Would not recommend
