After a disappointing hor fun experience at Circuit Road last night, I made a special trip to Kwan Tze Zhai because their hor fun has been consistently good. So bf orders hor fun & I try the Crispy Hong Kong noodles. This is so good! It satisfies my unfulfilled meal!
Love the generous ingredients of mushroom stems, black fungus, green veggies, carrots & mock fish cake.
This dish is also called Sheng Mian or Shang Min in Cantonese. It is a Continese style of fried Yee Mee and then drizzled with a thick savoury gravy and ingredients. The noodles will be soaked and become soft. So each mouthful has crispy and soft noodles. Makes for a really nice bite texture!
