Salted Fish Bean Sprouts at Rice House VegetarianAnne's Review (Aug 22, 2020)

The humble bean sprouts is a common local stir-fry dish. It is delicate in size and crunchy. It is a great source of protein, Vitamin C, Folic Acid and fibre. So it is quite healthy except for those suffering from gout. I wonder how vegetarians with gout eat as they can't all the soy beans and mushroom products. This reminds me to be thankful for my health. Sorry to digress...this dish has pieces of mock salted fish made from miniature soy croutons. Not too salty and adds a crisp texture to the crunchy bean sprout and carrots. Overall a great dish with Teochew (plain watery) porridge.
