Review of Delight Yam Ring at Greenland Vegetarian Restaurant by applepancakes

$16 for small!! this is the gong bao version, with mock meat doused in gong bao sauce. tbh prefer the veggie one bc there was a good balance between the light veggies and the heavy deep fried yam ring. this was in general too unhealthy for us to like HAHA the mock meat used is the same as the sweet and sour pork, and once again tough and not crispy, really meh. sauce wasn’t overly spicy but I didn’t really like it that much, and they kinda went overboard with the sauce so the yam ring was soaked in it and it wasn’t as crispy anymore! the yam ring was still really flavorful and better than many places out there, but would 10/10 recommend the other yam ring!!
