This is a 5 star MSG treat. Recommended by Rice House Vegetarian aunty as the brand to go to for Zhar Jiang Mien as this version can be eaten in as the original dry version or in soup.
This one came in super handy when I had hungry vegan guests, wet & cold from hanging out at the pool, excited after watching the National Day fireworks, with nothing to cook in the fridge & too hungry to wait for delivery. Ta-da...instant noodles!
I cooked this in three ways -
1) Dry version: Boiled & drained noodles, then mix in all the condiments,
2) Soup version: Boiled with everything in,
3) Tomato paste version: Boiled & drained noodles, and mixed with baked beans, ketchup & tomato salsa.
4) Soup without the bean paste & added ingredients like gyoza, seaweed & goji berries
Everyone slurped up the noodles & were satisfied for now. We all rate this 5 star for taste, value, speed & convenience. We will just wait for the MSG to kick in later!
From wikipedia;
Zhajiangmian, or "noodles with soybean paste", is a Chinese dish consisting of thick wheat noodles topped with zhajiang sauce. Zhajiang sauce is normally made by simmering stir-fried ground pork or beef with salty fermented soybean paste. Zhajiang also means "fried sauce" in Chinese.

Finished the last pack of #zhajuliangmien instant noodles. Added gyoza, seaweed & goji berries to the soup version & it made a well balanced meal. Sorted the photos so you can see the yunmy noodles first before the packaging. #instantnoodles
