Review of Vegan “Drunk Noodles” at The Melkbos Kitchen by taz

My mom ordered two dishes for my husband and I as a takeaway - pictured is the ‘drunk noodles’ - and the portions were HUGE. Could easily have shared one dish between two or even three of us. I really love Melkbos Kitchen as they are always so welcoming and happy to provide vegan options. As for this dish? Like the other dish we ordered, we found this one to be very salty (sauce is soya-sauce based so expected salty, but not quite so salty). That aside, it was very tasty - a little spicy and quite flavourful. Just the saltiness let it down. I would order again, but would request them to add less salt.
