Jerk Tofu at Yaad Style Jamaican Cuisinepdxveg's Review (Jun 5, 2020)

This consisted of tofu seasoned with Jamaican herbs and spices, cooked with fresh veggies, and served with rice and beans, and fried sweet plantains. This was a well-rounded meal in which all of the components complemented each other. The jerk sauce had some heat, but even if you’re not into spicy food, we recommend adding some of it to the grilled tofu. Unlike some spicy sauces that seem to get hotter the more you have, we found ourselves adapting to this one. The rice and beans were cooked in seasoned coconut milk and were especially satisfying.
