Review of Tofu Extra Firm - Morinaga by jonedoe007
Until I had to cook with it, I never knew the versatility of #tofu. I used this one, which doesn't need to be refrigerated, to make some fudge popsicles recently. It doesn't have much water in it and was a nice, smooth consistency.
For the fudge pops:
● 1 cup vanilla non-dairy milk
● 1 1/4 cups semisweet chocolate chips (see my review for suggestion ;)
● 12 oz. firm silken tofu (this one!)
*DO NOT use refrigerated/packed in water tofu
● 12 popsicle sticks and molds
Warm the milk.
Melt the chocolate separately.
Once melted, add the chocolate, the milk and the tofu to a blender and mix.
Pour into your molds.
Wait 40 minutes before putting in the sticks.
Freeze until hard.
Devour!
