Bruce Lee Burger at Basic Bistro — lisavermeulen1206's Review (May 21, 2020)

My husband and I were totally blown away by this 100% vegan burger! We go back as often as we can and although we want to try something else, this Bruce Lee Burger is just too good to resist! Its huge. It's packed with flavour. Its made up of fresh ingredients (nothing processed). There's a giant black mushroom, fresh greens, grilled aubergine, amongst a few other delightful ingredients. The flavors lean towards Asian, with a lovely fresh thai sauce. The burger is accompanied by thinly sliced potato chips, which are melt in your mouth delicious. I'm sorry that I don't have a better photo of the actual burger, but I think you can tell by the smiles on our faces, that we were very very happy!
The restaurant does get very busy and I'd seriously advise booking ahead to avoid dissapointment.
There is a really pleasing selection of vegan options, as well as tasty fresh beverages. All on a seperate vegan/vegetarian menu!
