I spent a long time telling myself that a tofu press is it worth it, that my old method was fine. HOWEVER this press makes life so much easier, not more balancing as many heavy things as possible this press gets out so much liquid and helps me make perfect tofu! I also use it for pressing TVP once I have rehydrated to get the excess liquid out before marinading it!
