I saw someone post in the Vegan chat about this new flavour and I just HAD to go down to try it! Kept thinking about it for a few days before finally making it down (feel so deprived without my favourite pastime of eating at restaurants)! It's great they introduced this healthy flavour in this time of need AND made it vegan!!! Unfortunately I found it too salty, otherwise it was good and I would rate it higher. Couldn't taste the walnuts much. Still somehow Japanese 🇯🇵 food like this 🍜 just feels so good and comforting to eat and has a good quality. The thick noodles are FANTASTICALLY CHEWY (you can choose to have thin ones too but I haven't tried). The soup is FANTASTIC too, same as the one for their regular Vegan Mazesoba. Don't forget to complete your experience by asking them for a small portion of rice at the end to mix with the leftovers (see last pic). The regular portion with the rice makes for a satisfying meal even though my appetite is on the large side. All in all, I still prefer their regular Vegan Mazesoba because the vegan "raw egg" is the creamy magic that this dish lacks. I would happily order that again as opposed to this one. Was quite disappointed to that they don't have delivery services during quarantine period; you can only walk in to takeaway so I'm not sure if I'll be back then. Definitely wanna eat their Vegan Mazesoba again though. That one is so, so good.
