I normally wouldn’t go for “duck” dishes (even if it’s mock meat) — but I’m happy I did! This curry is really flavourful and the “meat” is a chewy and a satisfying soy variety (in my opinion more exciting than tofu). This curry is made with red curry paste, coconut milk, potato, tomato, eggplant, long eggplant, pineapple, kaffir lime leaves, sweet basil, and chili. A great mix of ingredients that have a lot of flavour! They can adjust the spice level according to your preference. I ordered this with thick rice noodles instead of rice to live on the edge a little, and it paired really nicely! At only 100 baht, this is a steal and I don’t even know how they make a profit.
