This was pretty good! Taste-wise I think I prefer chipotle (although I keep getting pieces of chicken in my chipotle bowls 🤮), although the flavors are SO much different! I guess I would liken this more to qdoba, though it is also quite different (and better than qdoba). The rice tastes much more like traditional Mexican rice than both chipotle and qdoba, and I really liked it! The flavors were really simple & overall good, but nothing amazing. Wish I got more guac as well. I think my bowl came to around $7 total, which is actually really good for NYC, so overall it worth it for the convenience & price but nothing particularly special (though they do also have impossible ground).

Dos Toros Taqueria

Growing up in Berkeley, California we ate at our local taqueria almost every single day. It wasn‘t until we moved to the East Coast that we realized SF Mission-style burritos weren‘t available everywhere. We founded Dos Toros to share our love for this cuisine that has meant so much to us. After years of researching (eating more burritos), ingredient testing, and perfecting each recipe, we opened our first location in NYC‘s Union Square in 2009. Since then we‘ve grown, but we still take it one burrito at a time.
