A bowl of flaming mala meant for two, or one very hungry person. By default served with lion’s mane mushrooms. But the lions mane contains dairy. You can request to veganise the dish and they’ll swap the mushroom for konnyaku “prawn”.

sazzie Huh? Why does the lions mane mushroom contain dairy!? 😂 I swear, this Green Dot..... 😂Reply
soy-orbison @sazzie I had exactly the same response. They’re sneaking in dairy into dishes unnecessarily. Bet it wouldn’t make a difference without the dairy. Reply
mags21 You can try the mala at nature cafe. I always feel green dot is overpriced and dairy laden. Reply
soy-orbison @mags21 thanks for this! I shall try Nature Cafe soon. I’ve tried one at sauté. It’s pretty good as well 😊Reply
mags21 @soy-orbison (: so you are mala fan. Me too. The food court at Novena Square (look for Koi take the escalator all the way up to arrive at the food court) the serve vegan option for mala too. I realise besides lard chicken extract. Butter is a common ingredient. This stall has vegan friendly option. And very delicious. Reply
soy-orbison @mags21 yep. And a fan of spicy food in general 😛. Will definitely give the Novena one a shot, as I’m there every other week. You’re indeed the mala expert. 😉Reply
