i remembered when my cousin was getting married & I really wanted to go to his wedding banquet but I was they only vegan. Then, my dad refused to ask for vegan options for me & i cried bcos mAN chinese people weddings r really hard to come by. but i’m happier now bcos that cousin was really traditional so he probably had shark fins soup etc. funny thing was, i used to refuse shark fin soups when I attended weddings as a non-vegan (cognitive dissonance at it’s max!!! )
