Review of Crispy Kong Ba Pau at Vegan Curry Rice with Mother Earth by qianyu
Not sure if Kong Ba Pau is the right name to describe it as the vital elements (fatty layered "pork" and sweet braising sauce) were absent. It was still delicious as a katsu pau, with substantial and crispy fried omnipork pieces. Just that the filling is almost the same as the one in the Curry Katsu Don and Nasi Lemak so maybe getting something else would be better for variety!
