1/2 brown rice and 1/2 shredded kale with broccoli, silken tofu, tempeh, long beans and chilli flakes.

Daily Cut is more expensive than other salad places out there but I love that I can choose brown rice as my base (need my carbs!) and the ingredients are so fresh and yummy on its own. E.g. their broccoli is roasted (?) and is slightly charred and crunchy, which is delicious and doesn’t need any seasoning or dressing, compared to other salad places where it’s just plain steamed (and sometimes mushy) broccoli.

I also like their dressing options! I dislike olive oil and anything creamy when it comes to salad dressings and they have a chilli sauce dressing which is not creamy and very Asian-y

lou yes i agree! their sides are a lot nicer than other similar salad places, so i don't mind paying more for it...once in a while 😬Reply
