Review of Heirloom Tomato Tower at Oliver's by evolotus

Zucchini, macadamia ricotta, sundried tomato marinara, pistachio pesto, heirloom tomatoes. Sounds good, right? Like a raw lasagna a lot of places do? It was inedible. We sent it back. There was a rancid taste as if the oil had expired. Even if I wanted to eat it, the zucchini was so thickly sliced it was weird. And the “heirloom” tomatoes were probably just the cherry tomato halves used as garnish, but I strongly believe they are basic commercial tomatoes in yellow and dark red - not heirloom varieties. Certainly the thick slabs of tomato in the middle wasn’t “heirloom” and if it is, is was so underripe it was awful. They took it off the bill.
