Torta w/papas mexicana at Tacos El Compadre — Joan Denny's Review (Mar 19, 2019)

This is not a standard menu item. Just ask Tony (the owner) to make you this off the menu vegan item. Order a Torta with beans, lettuce, tomato, avocado and potatoes with veggies (papas mexicana) and no butter on the bread. The beans are vegan, the rice unfortunately has chicken stock/bouillon so stay away from the rice. Tortillas are also fresh made in house and re vegan, they go great with the papas mexicana.
