The day’s menu was brown rice, mildly spicy radish cubes, a Chinese cabbage, tau kwa (firm tofu) and deep-fried yam croquette. The firm tofu had a stronger taste of soy than most other firm tofus I’ve gotten from wet markets & cai fan stalls. Added some boiled chickpeas & kidney beans for some extra protein, cause the auntie only gave me three small pieces of tau kwa 😅 Note: please add some sauce to your chickpeas & kidney beans ‘cause they’ll otherwise be tasteless. The other veggies tasted average & not too salty. Wished there were other vegan options apart from the Asian selection everyday!
