Chopped Apple Salad at Tri Valley Bistro — K N's Review (Oct 30, 2018)

Always happy to patronize restaurants like this that emphasize sustainability and locally-sourced ingredients. Delicious and filling (maybe a little small for some) good-sized salad of organic mixed greens, chopped tart apples, piquant Bleu cheese, candied walnuts, pomegranate vinaigrette. Could not specifically taste the pomegranate of the vinaigrette but it gave the whole salad a mild sweetness. Also a good amount of apple, unlike a lot of places that are often stingy on the fruit. I ordered without the cheese to make vegan, and the waitress was conscious enough of my choice to ask if I'd like the cheese that came with our table's shared appetizer on the side too.
