Herbivore Menu at Restaurant Locavore — AKM's Review (Jun 21, 2018)

We call Locavore our essential ritual part of our annual pilgrimage to Ubud. They are my favourite restaurant in the world and they outdo themselves on every visit. Locavore's focus is to use local ingredients and serve modern European fare. With two menus, Locavore (meat-based) and Herbivore (vegetarian), they are one of those few restaurants who give equal respect and time to vegetarian dishes. No dish photos as it is a 7-course meal with multiple additional bites served gratis through the 2.5 hours of your meal. If there is one meal you'd want to splurge on in Bali, it should be here. Book ahead as they are full weeks in advance and let them know in advance about any dietary restrictions (they are vegan-friendly).
